He was predeceased by: his parents, Phyllis Peterson (Grant) and Raymond Peterson; and his sister Tammy Zimmerman. He is survived by: his wife Faith; his sons, Adam Peterson and Evan Peterson (Lacey); his stepsons, David and Darren Sorensen; and his brother Manley Peterson (Christina).
