He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald W. Rieder and Ruby King Rieder; and his son Benjamin Rieder. He is survived by: his wife Irene B. McCarty Rieder; his children, Ronald W. Rieder (Angie) of Dedham, MA and Rebekah J. Woods (Daniel) of Waldorf, MD; his grandchildren, Samuel B. Woods and Renae M. J. Woods; and his siblings, Marilyn Stark (James), Sharon Rieder of Warren, PA and Daniel Rieder (Mary) of St. Augustine, FL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
