He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Parent and Emilie Parent. He is survived by: his wife Gini; his children, Bernie Jr. and Kim; his stepson Chuck; his grandchildren, Samantha, Katie, Maddie, Tina, Bernie and Jake; his great grandchildren, Chloe and Cameron; his sisters, Louise Parent and Thérèse Parent; his mother-in-law Teresa Gramaglia; his in-laws, Joe, Giulia Gatta, Marc, Daniela Troilo, Larry and Gabriella Hawks; Isabella, Bella, Marco and Vincent. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Bernie's family warmly invites those wishing to honor his memory to consider making a donation to Ed Snider Youth Hockey & Education.
