He is survived by: his wife Lisa Nelson; his children, Carrie Cameron (Kevin), Emma Kalbach (Steve) and James Krout Jr. (Kristin); his stepdaughter Leigh Ferello (Tony); his siblings, Richard Krout, Nancy Esposito and Becky Krout; and his grandchildren, Colleen, Kevin, Colin, Kyle, Matthew, James, Julia, Daniel, Sadie, Anthony, Teigan and Brennan.
