He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Scavello and Philomena Scavello; and his siblings, Mary Dolores Bloguszewski, Tony Scavello and Anne Marie Daywalt.
He is survived by: his children, Christopher and Rachel Scavello; his grandchildren, Gabriel, Eden and Rowan; his sister Joan Scavello; his friend Hanh Obert; and his godson Daniel Gomez.
Viewing will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Joseph Church (1795 Columbia Ave, Warrington, PA 18976). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (1795 Columbia Ave, Warrington, PA 18976).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Richard's name to St. Jude Shrine, 512 W. Saratoga Street, Baltimore, MD 21201.
