She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Ruppenthal and Elizabeth Ruppenthal; her husband William Michael; her brothers, Carl Robert Ruppenthal and John Bruce Ruppenthal; and her nephew Steven Ruppenthal.

She is survived by: her children, William Scott Derr of Visalia, CA and Karen Elizabeth Myers of Sellersville, PA; her grandchildren, Alexander, Tyler and Emily Myers; and her nieces and nephews, Linda Corey, Wendy Clinton, Melissa Ruppenthal Kozik, David Lawson, John Ruppenthal, Jeffrey Ruppenthal, Kevin Ruppenthal and James Ruppenthal.
