He was predeceased by : his parents, William Pewterbaugh and Elsie Diffenbaugh Pewterbaugh. He is survived by : his wife Judith Watson Pewterbaugh; his children, Conor Pewterbaugh (Eva) of Manayunk, PA and Riley Pewterbaugh (Ahmed Bouzzerri) of Warrington; and his siblings, Kevin Pewterbaugh (Lisa) of Woodbridge, VA and Sharon (Richard Wodyka). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, sister and brother-in-laws, friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home (241 E Butler Ave, New Britain, PA 18901). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
