It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William J. Reed Jr. of Warrington, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 5, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, William J. Sr. Reed and Ethel Reed (Roskey). He is survived by : his wife Barbara A. Reed (Aucott); his children, Wendy Metzger (Michael Hoy), Christopher Metzger (Janice), Kimberly Wells (Michael) and Brooke Reed; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Gabrielle Politi, Carter and Connor Metzger; and his siblings, Kathryn Markert (Tom) and Joseph Reed.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to The Tunnel to Towers Foundation helping Veterans and First Responders.

He became, not only the person that signaled it was the time of the season, he brought a smile to anyone any time he was around. He filled the neighborhood, and all who knew him with joy.
