She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank D. Dixson and Vesta F. Dixson (Flick); her siblings, Melvin, Raymond Dixson, June Fultz, Dewella Williams and Beulah Dixson; and her son James Dale Gardner.
She is survived by: her sons, David (Vanessa Gardner) of Tyrone, Brian (Mary Gardner) of Tyrone and Dennis (Theresa Fields) of Warriors Mark; her grandchildren, Jennifer Vance, Kimberly Gardner, DeNeige Gardner and James Dale Gardner; and her stepgrandchildren, Debra Sagastume and James Weaver. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
