With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis B. (Kunkle) Baer of Washington Township, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 2, 2025 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Phyllis B. (Kunkle) Baer to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Kunkle and Esther Kunkle (Campbell); her husband Walter R. Baer; and her siblings, Doris Miller, Ora Mae Custer and Lee Kunkle, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Julie Blankenship (Timothy) of Allegheny Township, Walt Baer of Elizabeth and Samuel Baer (Denise) of Elizabeth; her grandchildren, Olivia, Hannah, Abigail, Walter, Isabelle, Colby and Lindsay; and her great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Madison and Mila. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. - Apollo (100 Owens View Ave, Apollo, PA 15613).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Phyllis's memory to the Apollo Free Methodist Church, 1027 PA Route 56, Spring Church, PA 15586.
