He was predeceased by: his parents, John C., Sr. and Mary A. Gillette (Cherowich); his siblings, Agnes Berg, Maryann Sterner, John C., Jr., Edward and Christopher; his niece Patty Arey; and his nephew Terry Gillette.
He is survived by: his children, Sian M. (Michael Fisher) of Mc Lean, VA. and Phillip J. (Sara); his grandchildren, Cora, Lily and Phillip R.; and his siblings, Elizabeth Arey of Catasauqua, Angela (Oliver Resh) of Whitehall, Margaret Rawson of Whitehall, Therese Gillette of Northampton, Joseph of Catasauqua, Paul of Bethlehem, Peter (Estella) of Houston, TX and Timothy (LaFerne) of Acworth, GA.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
