She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Avery and Edward Avery; her husband Howard Franell; her son Howard Franell, Jr.; and her siblings, Albert Clemon, Carolyn Smith and Briget Avery.
She is survived by: her children, Carlos Franell (Kelly), Carla Christopher (Jason), Ja'Net Franell, Anthony Franell (Melissa) and Brittany Franell; and her siblings, Larry Avery (Sharon), Charles Avery (Lisa), Sheron Godfrey (Greg) and Gregory Avery.
