He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Lemley and Martha McCormick Lemley. He is survived by: his daughters, Stacy Till and Kristen Lemley; his sisters, Beth D. Work and Brenda D. Simpson (Robert); his grandson James Derek Till; and his former wife Jeannette Lemley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
