He is survived by: his son Lucas Daniel McDaniel; his grandchildren, Avery, Coen and Keaton McDaniel; his brother James McDaniel (Paula); his nephews, Nathan McDaniel and James McDaniel; and his niece Emily Bland. He is also survived by 3 great-nephews and 4 great-nieces.
