He is survived by: his wife Lois Roche; his children, David Shanks (Kathleen) of Washington, Todd Shanks (Lori) of Andover, OH and Laura Greene (Dan) of Buffalo, NY; and his siblings, John H. Shanks, Jr. (Arlene) of Carnegie, Joyce Morrow of East Liverpool, OH, Sharon Webber (Jim) of Beloit, OH, Curtis Shanks and Judy Martin. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
