He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard R. Caffrey and Dorothy Caffrey; his sister Patricia Caffrey of Washington, PA; and his brothers-in-law, Dr. Bernie Hewett and Arch McKown.
He is survived by: his siblings, Louise L. Hewett of Truth, Jane C. McKown of Port Deposit, MD and Dennis M. Caffrey of Pittsburgh, PA; his niece Susan Hamlin (Brian) of Duluth, GA; his nephew Michael Jackson (Carolyn) of Hobe Sound, FL; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Marlee, Alivia, Brice, Joey and Grace.
