It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Diane Barnhart of Washington, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 29, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Diane departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Diane. Though Diane may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Burwell Cummings and Anna Jane Walker. She is survived by: her sons, David Lee Barnhart, Douglas Clyde Barnhart and Richard William Barnhart; her daughters-in-law, Mary Barnhart and Jill Barnhart; and her grandchildren, Noah, Jonathan, Grace and Abigail.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Steighner Funeral Home (111 E Slippery Rock St, Chicora, PA 16025).
