He was predeceased by : his parents, William Metre and Lulu Van Metre; his sister Cosella Cuddy; and his son Derek Van Metre. He is survived by : his wife Bonnie; his children, Sheila Van Metre, Amy Leone Salisbury and Dustin Van Metre; and his siblings, John Van Metre and Sue Rizco. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
