She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Wood and Virginia Andrews Wood. She is survived by: her spouse Blair J. Carpenter; her son Blair J. II (Tammy Carpenter); her granddaughters, Jessica Carpenter, Kimberly Handcock and Kathleen Handcock; her great grandchildren, Joel, Julius, Elise, Heavenle, Edward, Brittany, Samuel, Kamron, Zytaevious, A'Miracle and Giovanni; her son William "Billy" Carpenter; and her sister Joyce Carpenter. She is also survived by three great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the cancer society.
