She was predeceased by: her husband Michael A. Sorice; her parents, Walter Pettit and Helen Pettit (Nesbitt); and her sisters, June Turley (Pettit) and Nancy Turek (Pettit).

She is survived by: her children, Richard Sorice (Iris), Ruth Ann Fenton (Sorice), Janet Sorice Foss (Dan) and Judy Sorice Harris; her grandchildren, Nicole Sorice, Dylan Fenton (Abigail), Hallie Fenton, Caley Harris, Keara Brown, Shawn Brown, Ian Harris and Emily Harris; and her great grandchildren, Frances, Hazel, Arthur, Miles, Elliot, Olive, Aliyah and Arlo.
