With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Earlene Florence Hunter of Washington, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 16, 2023 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Meckel and Verdie Julian Meckel; her husband Rev. Joseph L. Hunter of Lagonda; her siblings, Robert Meckel (Evelyn), Stanley Meckel (Nadine) and Virginia Meckel Brandenstein; her daughter-in-law Charlene Bowles Hunter; her son Donald Hunter; and her grandson Austen Hunter.
She is survived by: her son Navy (David Hunter); her son-in-law Lewis Lampiris of Pittsboro, N. C.; her grandchildren, Christopher Hunter of Quebec, Jason Hunter (Michelle) of Lakehurst, Mary Hunter of Manchester, N. J. and Noel Schmutz (Frank) of Lakehurst; and her great grandchildren, Finnegan, Isis, Zanthis, Dylan, Kirkland, Logan, Chayse Hunter, Abigail and Onalesce Duncan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
