It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edgar J. Ellis Sr. of Washington, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 1, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Carrie Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Gerald "Boomer" Comedy, Edgar "J. R." Ellis Jr. (Randa), Carrie Ellis and April Morrison; and his siblings, George Ellis (Lesa), Duane Vaden, Nathaniel Ellis, Lenoplis Ellis, Melvin, Dean, Art, Frank Ellis, Louise Lipscomb, Sandra Johnson and Frances Gardner. He is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A reception will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
