He is survived by: his wife Carol Switzler Startare; his son Michael Startare (Karen); his stepdaughters, Lauren Hathaway (Jason) and Stephanie Whitehouse (Justin); his siblings, Frank Startare (Marge), John Startare, Sarah Ames (John), Emma Jean Turino, Becky Dittmar (James) and Maxine Wohleber; and his stepgrandchildren, Kaden, Karson, Kash Hathaway and Grayson Whitehouse. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
