He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul A. Putt and Louise Cochran; and his son Ian A. Putt. He is survived by: his wife Rosalyn Putt of Washington; his son Chris Putt of Bridgeville; his sister Paula Putt of Finleyville; and his aunts, Kathleen Zimbicki of Rennerdale and Catherine Cochran of Seattle, Wash..
In lieu of gifts, the immediate family encourages loved ones to donate to a local public broadcasting or independent radio station, which provided so much comfort and enjoyment throughout Garvin's life.
