He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Silvers and Mary Adams Silvers; and his wife Norma Jean Ross. He is survived by: his children, George Silvers Jr., David Silvers (Cindy), Robert Silvers (Judy) and Melody Butterfield (Thomas); his grandchildren, Kimberly Desmond (James), Brett Haskitt, Jessica Carper (Kevin), Devin Silvers (Brittney) and Kara Simonelli (Jimmy); his great grandchildren, Mason Desmond, Maya Desmond, Elliott, Ian, Adam Carper and Tara Silvers; his brothers, William Silvers, Edward Silvers Jr. and Richard Silvers; and his daughter-in-law Patricia Fenton Silvers.
