She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Melone and Wenona Gary Melone; her siblings, Marjorie Smagner, Floyd Melone and Grace Melone of Virginia; and her granddaughter Heather Michelle Smith.
She is survived by: her son James Hodgens Smith III (Ardith) of Fort Myers, FL; her grandchildren, Ann Malys (Coy) of Bentleyville, Shari Brownlee (Michael) of Claysville, James C. Smith (Amber) of Belmont, MA and Bethany Smith of Fort Myers, FL; her great grandchildren, Coy Malys Jr. (Sammi) of Steubenville, OH, Chelsea Malys Riggin (Tommy) of Bentleyville, Travis Brownlee (Kayla) of Washington, Jacob Brownlee of Washington, Amber Brownlee of Claysville, Carter and Alice Smith of Belmont, MA; and her sister Rose Morgan of Bridgeville. She is also survived by seven great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
