She was predeceased by: her parents, Duane Kerr Hixon and Catherine Elizabeth Beam Hixon; her husband Jim; and her brother-in-law Denny Lucas. She is survived by: her son JD Batove (Dana Glessner); her grandson Jacob; her daughters, April E. Batove (Jeffrey Rydzak) and Cerra Coddington (Michael); and her siblings, Reppa Cottrell (Daniel), Bobbie Lucas and Eugene Hixon (Debbie). She is also survived by nieces and nephews, as well as lifelong friends.
Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Washington Area Humane Society, Eighty-Four, PA.
