He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jacob Goempel and Vernell Goempel; his wife Charlene Caumo Goempel; his children, Melinda Bello (George "Jody") and Russell Goempel; and his granddaughter Jessica Goempel. He was also cherished by five siblings, as well as many nieces and nephews.
