He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett E. Simpson and Sydney Dilworth Simpson; and his brother Joseph. He is survived by: his siblings, Janet Dingman of Virginia Beach, Virginia and David Simpson (Roberta) of Washington, Pennsylvania; his siblings' children, Pamela Onest (Trevor) of Canonsburg, Pennsylvania and James "JD" Simpson (April) of Hurricane; his great-nieces, Aidan Onest, Bridget Onest and Nina Onest; and his great-nephew Keileigh Simpson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, Amedisys Home Health of Washington, or Presbyterian Senior Care Network Foundation.
