He is survived by: his brother Martin Painting; his children, Patricia Martin of Washington, Lisa Elliott of Taylorstown, John Oliver Martin, Jr. (Tracy) of Washington and Melissa Hartley (Josh) of Bentleyville; and his siblings, Raymond Martin (Shirley), Florence Gheen and Lawrence L. Martin, Jr.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
