With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John R. Byers Sr. (Washington, Pennsylvania), who passed away on July 13, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Sylvia N. Byers (Renz); and his father Root Beer. He is survived by: his children, John Byers Jr. (Glenna), Sharon Byers, Daniel Byers and Robert Byers Sr. (Kim); his grandchildren, Jake Miller (Rose), Calla Byers (Wylie Roupe), Kohl Johnson, Bobby Lee Byers and Danielle Patterson (Matthew); his brothers, Bernard Byers and Russell Byers; and his close friends, Donna Boone and Dave McVay.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the William G. Neal Funeral Home (925 Allison Ave, Washington, PA 15301).
