Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence McCartney and Helen Lennox McCartney. He is survived by: his children, James McCartney (Stacy) of Washington, Teresa Shuman of Washington and Shirley Harmon (Gary) of Washington; his siblings, Clarence "Buck" McCartney (Ellen) of Washington and Alberta McCartney of Washington; his son Ron McCartney; his brothers, Don and Ron McCartney; and his nephew John. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
