She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry McCurry and Agnes McCurry; her husband Robert "Tom" Sterling; her son Robert Sterling; her siblings, Harry McCurry, Robert McCurry, Margaret McKahan, Elizabeth Raineri and Agnes Mossburg; her nephews, Harold Mace, Timothy Mace, Boyd McCurry, Harry Mossburg and James McCurry; her close friend Linda McGowan; Sheri of Ohio.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda McDonald (Randy) of Houston, Paul Harshall (Carmen) of Bridgeville, Lisa McComas (Clifford "Mac") of Canonsburg and Teresa Huseman of Canonsburg; her grandchildren, Alexis Bakaitis of Baden, Shelby Huseman of Canonsburg, Mason Maverick McComas of Canonsburg, Amanda Sterling, Stevie McDonald and Randy McDonald; her siblings, Eileen Costanzo of Canonsburg and Frank McCurry of North Versailles; Robert and Linda. She is also survived by her many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
