She was predeceased by: her parents, Arlington S. Beck and Margaret Schmitt Beck; and her sisters, Arlene Rihs and Merridy Leppert. She is survived by: her husband Andrew Sonson, Jr.; her children, Paul Sonson of Washington, Julie Carpenter (Charles) of Washington and Joyce Schuler (Mark) of Washington; her sister Karen Legler (John) of Washington; and her grandchildren, Drew Carpenter, Jason Carpenter, Rachel Wood and Krista Schuler. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
