He is survived by: his wife Wendy S. Hooks; his sons, James Hooks (Morgan), Jeremy Hooks (Kelly), Josh Hooks and Jennisa Islas (Juan); his grandson Emmett Logan Hooks; and his sisters, Betty Moorehead (Gerald), Joy Ann Whiten (Harry) and Cindy Griffiths (Ronald).
