She was predeceased by: her parents, David Hughes and Flossie Slyder Hughes; her brother John Hughes; and her brother-in-law Allen Anderson. She is survived by: her daughters, Sereina Hughes of North Carolina and Heather Hughes (Derek Bennett) of Washington; her sisters, Mary Anna Marie Misa of Washington and Becky Anderson of West Newton; and her grandchildren, Anthony Bennett of Washington and Aaliyah Bigelow of North Carolina. She is also survived by mother and grandmother who loved her children and grandchildren.
