She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Paxton and Wilma McConnell Paxton; and her husband Robert J. Meneely. She is survived by: her children, Scott Meneely (Kelly) of Lebanon, TN, James Meneely (Shelly) of Anaheim, CA and Gail Nelson (Garret) of Apex, NC; her granddaughters, Erin Nobles (Tom) and Leah Nelson; her great grandchildren, Nora and Harper Nobles; her stepgrandchildren, Justin Heller and Heather Oeland; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Dakota Wollet and Merrick Oeland; and her sister Isabelle Alderson of Washington. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She had been a volunteer for Meals on Wheels, the American Cancer Society, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in New Mexico and the National Park Service on Cumberland Island, Georgia.
