He is survived by: his parents, James Cowden Jr. and Christy Barton (Miller); his sons, Jaykob Cowden (Kaitlyn) and Benjamin Cowden; his granddaughter Izabella Cowden; and his siblings, Rhonda Snyder, Jimmy Cowden, Crystal Cowden, Jason Cowden and Kelly Cowden. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
