She is survived by: her children, Melvajo Bennett (Ira "Ike") of Mount Pleasant and Joseph Simon (Diana) of Mount Pleasant; her grandchildren, Frank VanHorn, Kurt VanHorn, Peter Alexander, Michael Alexander (Karen), Elizabeth Schafer (Doug), Joseph Simon IV (Sarah) and Justin Simon; her great grandchildren, Keirsten VanHorn, Ashleigh VanHorn, Kylie Schafer, Braden Simon, Dominic Simon and Libby Tamayo; and her sister Marie Milliron.
