She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Hawkins and Edna Pettit Hawkins; her husband Ronald D. "Puff" Carter; her stepfather Willis Conklin; her son Edward Anderson; her siblings, Harold "Butch", Michael, Charles Hawkins and Grace Hawkins; and her half-sister Sandy Conklin.
She is survived by: her daughter Kelley Yonish (Joe) of Houston, PA; her siblings, Herbert "Skip" Hawkins of Ohio, Wilma Schulte (Arnold) of Ohio and Bonnie Neely (Don Lachman) of Claysville; her grandchildren, Kyle Anderson, Timothy Johnson (Amy), Austin Anderson (Callie) and Jordan Niebergall (Kevin); her great grandchildren, Bailey Niebergall and Hazel Anderson; and her daughter-in-law Audra Anderson.
