It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy J Johnston of Washington, Pennsylvania, born in Ligonier, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 18, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucien Earl Welty and Nelly Catherine Withrow Welty; her sons, Earl Ryan Johnston and Paul Clayton Johnston; her brothers, Harry Earl Welty, Robert Lucien Welty and George Hoon Welty; and her nephews, Thomas Welty, James Welty and Allen Welty.

She is survived by: her husband Harry R. Johnston; her daughters, Catherine Helen Runyan (Timon) of California and Carol Jane Johnston of Canonsburg; her grandchildren, Amy Lynn Johnston Clement (Chad), Ryan Curtis Johnston (Liz) of Billings, MT and Samuel Berridge (Cassie) of Canonsburg; and her great grandchildren, Deegen Stansbury of Phoenix, AZ, Emma Johnston of Billings, Michael, Joseph Clement and Masina Berridge of Canonsburg.
