He was predeceased by: his parents, Burton Richards and Berthalene Webster Richards; his son Gary M. Richards; his brothers, Kenneth G. Richards (Joy) and Malcolm W. Richards (Trudi); and his former wife Ruth Wyman Richards.
He is survived by: his children, Gayle A. Richards (Alison Donigan), Gregory B. Richards (Anne) and D. Troy Richards (Cynthia); his siblings, Sylvia A. Temple (late Alan), Joyce R. Hirtle (William Solovieff), Diane E. McCall (Merley) and Robert (Kathryn); his grandchildren, Nathan M. Richards, Benjamin N. Richards, Raymond T. Richards and Amelia L. Richards; and his niece Charlene A. Fruchter (late Robert). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
