He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Sanders and Hazel Johnson Sanders; his wife Ilse E. Sanders; his son Randy Sanders; and his grandson Kurt Sanders.
He is survived by: his children, Renee and Stephen (Teressa); his grandchildren, Tyler, Ryan Sanders, Logan Ackelson, Wendy Bentley [Alex] and Carole Ackelson; and his great grandchild Alyssa of Edinboro. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
