He is survived by : his parents, Patricia Fonner and Raymond L. Fonner; his wife Johnna Knisely Fonner; his daughter Elena Fonner; and his brother David A. Fonner. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family for Elena's college fund.
