With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert L. Ambrose of Washington, Pennsylvania, born in New Kensington, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 29, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustave Ambrose and Geraldine Ambrose (Conwell) of Virginia; and his wife Joan Ambrose (MacDonald). He is survived by: his children, Stacy A. Block (Derrick) of Winchester, CA and Shawn Ambrose of Oceanside, CA; his grandchildren, Gavin Block (Cami Gayden), Graham Block and Madison Ambrose; his sister Nancy Heffran of Indiana, PA; his niece Jeri; and his nephews, Jason and Jimmie.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Robert's name to the Salk Institute of Biological Studies, 10010 N. Torrey Pines Road, La Jolla, CA 92037.
