He is survived by: his wife Nora Liew; his sons, Daniel Ketzell, Din Zakaria (Nancy Koh-Zakaria), John Zakaria (Julie) and Zaidi Zakaria (Lynne); and his grandchildren, Daniel, Derek, Alyssa, Joshua, Sarah, Xavier and Julius Zakaria.
