With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth E. Johnson of Washington, Pennsylvania, born in Finleyville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 23, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Henry Sr. and Juanita Johnson; her siblings, George, Edward, James, Robert Johnson and Nellie Mae Jackson; her grandmother Nellie Landren; her aunt Harriet Landren; and also Nancy Kelly.
She is survived by: her sons, Sheldon and David; her sister Betty Jane Patterson of Pittsburgh; her extended family Dr. Sheldon Bastacky (Louise); her daughters, Melissa and Michele of Monroeville; her extended family Dr. David Bastacky (Debbie); her nephew Edward "Butch" Johnson of Washington; her niece Sandra Davis of Monessen; and also, Michael, Sarah of Columbia and Bill Kelly of Washington. She is also survived by eight nieces, 11 nephews, other relatives and friends.
