She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter, Sr. Brown of Maryland and Sara Brown of Maryland; and her husband Milton Beckner. She is survived by: her children, Darryl J. Beckner of Washington, Lynn Oakley of Washington, Sheila Beckner of Washington and Davida Beckner; and her siblings, Roosevelt of Maryland, William of Maryland, Walter "Sugar", Jr. of Maryland and Dorothy Sanders. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
