It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Valerie Britt of Washington, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 19, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Banks and Magda Ward Gibbs; and her daughter Jaunna Rae Britt. She is survived by: her son Dillon Britt of Washington; her stepsons, David Britt (Jennifer) of Greensburg and Dustin Britt (Angela) of Dormont; her grandchildren, Nico Robert Peters, Ja'Lil, Deshawna, Amelia Britt, Henry and Georgia Conte-Kramer; her siblings, Joanne Thompson of Canonsburg, LaVerne Gibbs of Canonsburg, Beverly Banks of Canonsburg, Cheryl Blackett (Richard) of Nashville, TN, David Gibbs (Cathy) of Washington and Dennis Gibbs of Washington; her foster daughters, Brooke and Brandy Washington of Canonsburg; and her stepsiblings, Rita Coleman Destein of West Mifflin, LaMont Coleman of West Mifflin and Darren Coleman of Charleroi. She is also survived by siblings from Richmond, VA; and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
