She was predeceased by : her parents, Paul W. Gray and Virginia Ward Gray; and her husband Delbert Porter. She is survived by : her children, Jeffrey S. Porter of Birmingham, AL and Shari L. Newman of Washington; her sister Margaret Blackhurst (James) of Elk Grove, CA; her grandchildren, Gina, Ethan Newman, Dale, Wyatt and Trace Porter; her great grandchildren, Quinn and Kellan Ardeno; and her brother Paul Gray. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
